Not before time ! Paris is well-known for its "crottes de chien" on the pavements and gardens - there was even a song about it, but I can't find it !

We used to say "pooper-scooper" is not a word l'Academie has been required to translate.
Twenty years ago in Neuilly they used motocrottes - motorbikes with a vacuum system and tanks on them similar to the one below. They would ride up to the crotte, put the suction pipe over it, tweak the engine and it was slurped up into a tank at the bank.
However, the problem seems to be wider than crottes - and much is down to mismanagement by Ms Hildalgo and her team.
