Weather ... again

That sounds nasty, MOTM - hopefully no more damage has been found today and everyone escaped with no injuries.

Today is the last of the hot weather, 29C and sunny all day, down to 25C forecast for tomorrow and nights are cooler now, though our bedroom is reading 27C at the moment. I’ve just got in and turned the fans and mobile aircon on so it should drop a couple of degrees by bedtime.

Lots of thunder and rain last night, meaning that most water butts are now full.

Slight disruption due to power cuts as various circuits tripped in the night, setting off alarms.

We had a terrific storm on Thursday late afternoon and enough rain to fill our water butts. Yesterday the temperature was very pleasant with a slight breeze.
We're fortunate here in that we don't get the extremes of further south. The grain harvest seems to have gone well and the land behind us is being harrowed as I write.

A very mild 28 deg this afternoon with a nice breeze. :D
Well glazed west facing kitchen/day room comfortable without air con running so far.
Sun at about SW so gonna get hotter when it moves around a bit more methinks, so soon be lowering all of the 5 'leccy roller blinds in readiness.
