There is a certain irony that protesters block a bicycle race in the name of climate change.

Is that what caused a big pile-up yesterday?

Probably on the wrong side of the road as well. Good day for Fred Wright

Okay, so who spotted the mankini ??? It was there, as usual, a lime green monstrosity worn by a man with a mime green wig
He was there just before the barriers started ....
Tough race in the heat with some familiar spots - I hoped Vingegaard would get it, but Pogacar had that extra spurt at the end.

We were in Cahors yesterday morning for a hospital appt for Fixit. Lots of car parks already shut so I dropped him at the door and went to find a parking space (amazingly a shady one nearby!!!!) The town looked so neat and clean.
Today Fixit had to be at the eye clinic in Montauban, so we drove part of the Le Tour route near Sauzet on the way, hooting and waving to the folk already on the roadside - well they hadn't seen a Morris Minor woodie before!
Coming back, I opted to bypass Cahors even tho the riders were hours away, and stay on the autoroute to Cahors nord, then dropped down towards Cahors taking a wiggly turn west to access the main valley road home. A tad longer but we kept moving.
Enjoyed watching the route up from Lauzerte to Cahors, all my home territory.
