Just coming to the end of a cracking thunderstorm, at least I won’t have to water tonight!

Same here, timed our walk perfectly as it started pouring when we put the key in the front door on our return. Still cloudy, but the rain has stopped. Hoping for some more. But, you're right - no watering needed tonight.

It’s been a warm, sunny day with the north-easterly breeze a bit lighter. There’s been a beautiful sunset, just the last tinge of peach showing - don’t seem to have had such a colourful sunset for ages. We get them much more in France.

It's certainly humid! The forecasts have been quite erratic - everyday saying huge storms and strong winds. So far they seem to have missed us, but there's rain every day which is ruining all the haymaking. Hopefully better weather next week for everyone. We need the rain, but we also need the hay!

There's been some terrible damage where the storms have passed through - I'm trying to work out whether this is a normal stormy season, or more than most?

We've had loads of rain and storms over the last few days, but it hasn't cleared the air, it's so humid it's difficult to breath when you try to do anything too strenuous outside in the garden.

It's heavy here, very warm and sunny with clouds coming up. We've had no serious rain for weeks now, just a constant north wind, but it still feels humid.

We had quite a storm last night/this a.m., but not the 100 km/hr gusts that were forecast to accompany it.
We've had loads of rain here since early May and humid weather until yesterday.

Ditto - we're probably on the same storm projectory. I watch the Lightningmaps:
https://www.lightningmaps.org/#m=oss;t= ... ;dl=2;dc=0;

Saw a big, slow storm coming up from the SW last evening - just enough thunder to make me unplug stuff during the night, but apart from rain came to nothing as thankfully I was soon back in the land of nod!

Everything absolutely soaked at the moment. Looks like Summer starts tomorrow!
