Longest day? The lights last evening were on a good hour earlier than usual and this morning it's gloomy and hissing down.

Not a great footy fan, but the thunder rolled in part way into the France:Poland match so I missed most of it. It the went away and seems to be rolling back in for the England:Slovenia encounter.

It’s been a sunny, hot, humid day today, 28C but felt hotter. I came in about 30 minutes ago after sitting for hours at the far end of the garden under trees, where it’s much cooler.

Yep, one extreme to another - our bodies haven't had time to adjust! Madly doing mowing marathons this week, before clients turn up from various countries. Yesterday, even in the shade, up a tall ladder getting creeper off a wall - it was so humid. Phewy!!

Forecast still looking unsettled, but it was nice to see some haymaking getting done on higher ground. Being in a riverside valley, our's will be last - if the ground is ever dry enough to allow it. :?

We've got it in the east.

Awaiting another storm to pass before allowed to take off.

90 mins delay and counting.
