Chenilles Processionnaires

They're back here in Correze. We met two lines of them in the lane this morning while on our morning walk. They seem to be early this year. From our neighbours' pine tree where we shot a nest out a few years ago.

Biggles and Frodo met a long procession yesterday on their walk. Thankfully Frodo was on his lead. The head of the procession had led them across a chemin and met long grass on the other side which they seemed unable to cope with. Evidently, they continued to cross and were piling up .........

I saw lots of the fluffy looking nests in trees when we went down to Limoges last week.
