A fuel delivery driver at a Geant Casino in Nouvelle Aquitaine put diesel in the petrol tank and petrol in the diesel tank. Several customers then filled up and had bad outcomes.Who pays for that I wonder?

They used to say a bit of petrol in your diesel in winter prevents winter waxing. Cold spell due?

But Grand Casino will in turn get the delivery company to pay them - either directly or from the fuel distributor who supplied them and arranged the transport.

I hope that those affected have kept t their receipts as I am sure there will be some trying to falsely get some compensation.

If they took a receipt. I am always surprised that the card machines/pumps ask if you want a receipt or not.
You will of course have something on your bank card account but maybe not to the detail needed as proof.

That's neither here nor there for the consumer - his contract is with the vendor of the product.
