What are you up to today?
Nothing interesting happening here today.
Probably the most exciting thing will be loading the washing machine or one of us saying how slow the checkout was at Lidil.
Gets better later in the week when we head to the Cantal.

I will be trying to cut a 180mm hole in a sheet of stainless steel to make a part for my woodburner flue installation. Not looking forward to it at all.
On my headstone it will say: Please switch off mobile phones. I'm trying to get some sleep.

Re-routing the piping for the central heating radiators - and trying to find a replacement thermostat for an ancient Franco Belge cuisinier without a lot of success. Amongst other things.

I've got the impression that I had seen these movies before. Continuing with horizontal repointing: the grass between the pavés grows too fast. As long as you cut it every week it looks so nice, but.....Removing the mixture of clay, sand and tiny grass roots with an old chisel, 20 meters to go and now already tired. Repointing and plastering: later this afternoon, or tomorrow, a maintenance touch of a wall. Weber has the Procalit F plaster, ton pierre, 17 years later, still in its product range. So the new layer should within a year or so have the same colour as the rest.

An interim report: something I always suspected, with my tempo I'm not going to qualify for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. In the basket left the harvest of 25 minutes digging. Conclusion: a step-by-step project.

Re: What are you up to today?
I'm just over a week into a month's holiday so I'm doing nowt. Yesterday I mowed our tiny patch and planned to strim today. I've mentally strimmed. I'm now going back to my Kindle as reading what y'all are doing has worn me out.
