I haven't finished doing nothing. I've still got 10 days of nothingness stretching ahead.

Day three and I have finally finished rewiring my backup mower. Runs like a bag of nails but it runs. My main one is out of action waiting for spares to come in the post. Grass growing like fury at the moment.
Humanity landed on the moon over fifty years ago but it seems too much to ask for a reliable telephone/internet service in rural France.

Sounds like you're feeling a bit better Spectrum - How's the man flu?
Thanks Char a lot better, but Iam a giving type of person and like to share life's little pleasures, so I gave it to the wife :D :D She shouldn't be to bad as I put on the medicines straight away, but its taken me a week to get almost back to normal so BBq today homemade beefburgers, steamed leeks, sweet potatoes with bacon, spring onions and cheddar cheese, if it warms up as Meteo France says it will

mysty No fear ! After 18 months of not being able to practise together, there's a heck of a lot of work to do. But our spectators seemed to enjoy it - they were very generous in their paper donations to the SNSM :D. It's not too easy for the singers or the musicians, who have to wear masks until 21h !
