If you had to leave in a hurry, what to take
In our department, there is a volunteer group a bit like the old civil defence set up.
They have recently been posting preparedness info on Facebook. In case of emergency ….
They suggest having an emergency bag ready.
So if you had to leave in a hurry because of a natural disaster what would you take ?

My little tractor. It's mobile, reliable, and is the most valuable thing I own when I need cash. Maybe with a box on the back I could even take my record collection.
On my headstone it will say: Please switch off mobile phones. I'm trying to get some sleep.

Specs, ID cards, bank cards and dog (and OH I suppose), all packed into my moggie traveller. Hitch the trailer tent up to it if time then we'd have emergency accommodation!
How do people live without at least one dog in the house?

Camera bag, portable hard drive with my piccies on, lap top, handbag with ID money etc. Cats, OH, clean underwear.
I'm sure something else would spring to mind after I'd been ushered out of the house.

That would be pretty much my list too but since I don't think I could gather up 20 cats, I guess I would be staying.

Important stuff if not in handbag, photo albums, specs, the cat (if he wants) and a quilt. OH if I must.

I’ve been thinking about this a bit more.
No one so far had mentioned their medication. That would be high on my list along with papers, a hard drive from my computer, small sized valuables, the dog and cat (if I could catch her).
I thought the tractor was a good idea - more use than a car in extreme circumstances.
