My partner was on the ferry out of there this morning; weather spectacular!

Goodness, I'm surprised the ferries were running! Those pictures are amazing - shows just how dumb people are, wanting to put themselves (and potentially their rescuers) at great risk just for that moment of adrenalin.

It's much less dramatic for boats at sea. The wind was from the west - if it's from the north, it's even more spectacular !! Just look at this drone video taken 2 years ago during Tempête Ciara !! No wonder tourists want to come and see it !
Easy Ride are based in Saint Malo and produce some fantastic drone videos. They did a brilliant one of Saint Malo during lockdown .... really eerie.
