Just a heads up, saw on another forum that the British Corner Shop is in administration, hope you have not got any orders in.

That's a shame, they were useful from time to time.

And also from the other forum, Bacon By The Box is a good alternative, if a little expensive.
Humanity landed on the moon over fifty years ago but it seems too much to ask for a reliable telephone/internet service in rural France.

I have not used them much but I will still miss their offerings. Most of the things I got through them were perhaps somewhat exotic for French tastes. They lately started importing sausages and bacon. Bacon I can get from several sources but British sausages were a pleasant change - yes I know there are excellent French ones, ditto German and Spanish but each has its attractions. As for the rest I can now get them via Amazon but in some cases at quite augmented prices. Perhaps that was part of the problem. They were selling products too cheaply - and I am aware that in the past there have been criticisms of prices for items that could be bought in France more cheaply .
