How many genders in France?

The these antics of the Scottish government made me larf only to be eventually a bit saddened by the thought that pubic money paid for it. Then I begans to wonder how many genders France has, and other European countries. Belgium is already divided enough culturally and linguistically but adding 24 sexes would cause the pot to boil over finally.
And I also wondered how many folk seriously see themselves as other than their birth sex. Or do they choose one of the 24 depending on waking mood, or change during the day?
Will there be celebrations if say number 25 or more are discovered? Will there be a changeover day?

I am afraid I think for many aspects you need to go back to chromosomes - if you've got a complete Y chromosome, you are 99.9% of the time male, even if your genitalia are ill-formed - and as such ought not to be participating in women's sport.

And if you are a trans man will meat and two veg still in place, you ought not to be in women's spaces either - post op is a different matter.

The Isla Bryson case shows why Scottish Law is a mess - and if the SNP is prioritising gender identity when they have some of the worst healthcare in Europe, I suggest their priorities are wrong.

I thought France had stopped at 12? Not sure they're spending pubic money on it, though How does that work? I'm sooo thankful that I haven't produced offspring that are going to be offered, or even encouraged, to be anything other than the two basic choices with lifestyle options
