He has announced his retirement at the end of this season.
What an incredible career he has had.
Must be one of the best road sprinters ever.

Just hope he stays fit & wins at least one stage this year to beat the record of stage wins. Saw him back in 2016, before the stage "start" in Saumur.
The French love him...the amount of fans shouting "Mark! Mark!", trying to get an autograph was amazing. I managed to capture the moment on my tablet.

This will probably be sacrilegious to those that admire him, but I've always thought him to be a rather smug little s**t.

Whatever your views of him, the boy done well today winning the final stage of the Giro.
Looking forward to the first stage of the Criterium du Dauphiné next weekend, where Fixit and I and friends will have a ringside seat at the start and finish of the first stage at Chambon-sur-Lac in the Puy de Dome (63)
Chambon-sur-Lac is a little village with a posh 5* campsite which we had booked for a Morris Minor rally prior to the race route being sorted. Our rally participants either have to be installed by Friday, or they have to wait until Monday due to the road closures.

How do people live without at least one dog in the house?
