I'm not a fan, the only amusing bit is when they lift players in the air for throw ins. Perhaps footballers ought to try it for corner kicks?
Also the appalling dirge about chariots, what has that got to do with rugby? :crazy:

Well done Ireland. I don't think Wales played badly even if the score line suggests otherwise. It's just that Ireland played so, so well.

International Rugby Player of 80s and 90s -> Martin Offiah -> very fast runner in his time -> nicnamed Chariots of Fire -> Swing Low, Sweet Chariot

Good try but a bit tenuous. Swing Low was being sung in the 1960s in rugby clubs. When Offiah signed for Wigan rugby league I presented him with his shirt.

Well ajm - if you’re from that area you must know my « home « club (in the late ninties/2000) Orrell which was killed by a certain DW, also an exceptional player, Harrison Hansen who was one of my former pupils.
