Electric secateurs

#1 Post by Headers »

We are both losing our grip and finding it more difficult to prune.
I spent a while looking at electric sécateurs and settled on the stihl model which seems to suit our needs.
The price is pretty much fixed but I managed to find an online site which was offering 69 euros off the standard going rate. It’s always a risk when buying online but I ordered them on Friday and they arrived today.
The website is Grube.fr

Glad the order process worked.

Be careful using those. If you are losing your grip, it might make it that much more dangerous to use the electric ones.

Sorry, this is coming from someone who has a friend who just lost 3 half fingers due to yard equipment.

Electric secateurs

Interesting.
The EDF trimmed a line of trees on the edge of my property that were threatening the power lines. A line about a hundred metres long. They left the cut branches in the drainage ditch for me to clear. Due to rain, spinal problems, and other priorities it me took several months to complete the clearance. I was thinking about watching people down south trimming the vines with electric pruners. Oh how that would have helped. After seeing the cost of those things on Headers' link I thought maybe not..........
On my headstone it will say: Please switch off mobile phones. I'm trying to get some sleep.
