Not sure if I will be watching, nor indeed who I want to win. Very much split loyalties.

I believe that the team(s) you support is a question of birth place - there is no choice. I recognise that some people, born in one nation choose to support the team of another (eg their parents') nation ................ indeed there are some players in the Wales and Ireland teams who cannot imitate the accent of the team they play for.

Consequently, I will be supporting England but I will not be too disappointed if France wins. It goes without saying that I want Portugal to loose! On Saturday, I shall leave the Saône-et-Loire in time to be in the Haute-Marne in time for the kick off.

When I’m watching matches I mostly support the ‘underdog’ and I have had some pleasant surprises during the tournament HOWEVER when England are playing I am watching but shouting at them or hiding behind a cushion.
I hope they win, but if they loose to France I hope France retain the trophy.
I have been constantly amazed at the different performances of the teams in terms of Drama and tumbling skills and their miraculous ability to make a complete recovery after almost having to have limbs amputated on the
Pitch!
