Well done the Lionesses although the 2nd and 3rd goals were a bit soft. Nevertheless it seems they were the better team although I only caught the backend of the match.

Lucky? Beating a very good team on their home ground nearly full of Aussies 3-1. That really is lucky.

My observation of the final.
There seemed to be an awful lot of shirt pulling, pushing, boot stamping, dramatic life changing injuries that were miraculously cured moments later and deliberate time wasting.
I think Spain had analysed Englands games and stifled their style on the day.
The England Goal Keeper was epic but she couldn’t save them.
The Spanish team also seemed more adept at influencing the referee.
Not Englands best performance by a long chalk.
