At (one of ) my voluntary jobs the other week a mother said to her child “Give it to the woman “ Me ! I thought it sounded quite rude and would have much preferred lady

With the current trend in some NHS establishments to use "trans-friendly" terms, maybe being called a "woman" isn't so bad!

This wasn’t the NHS ,some of the names I get called in the NHS woman would be pleasant
