I see there has been some upset about a "new flag" on the back of the kit shirt. I'm a complete football numpty, so can someone explain why it seems to have caused so much outrage?

Its not the standard, red, st George flag, is the central beef.

So the Olympic kit, the Tory tree, etc etc do not raise the same level of ire. Who winds them up?
