Just read of the death of one of the funniest guys I've ever heard.
Many years ago I had the pleasure of buying him a pint at his club on Bodmin Moor when visiting with our skittles team. What an absolute gent!
If anyone doesn't know of Jethro have a look at some of his stuff on youtube.
Here's a starter;

I never saw Jethro live but he will be sadly missed. We have just sat and watched this recording and haven't laughed so much for ages.

I remember him being on TV many years ago and found him very funny and original. Sad to hear he's died of Covid.

Saw him live once at his club. Unfortunately, don't remember much of his act, as I was quite drunk by the time the mini-bus load of us unruly mob had arrived. The dreaded days of Diamond White Cider! :lol: Then proceeded to get even more drunk whilst there, and yes, he would usually be at the bar with us noisy punters before the show.

RIP me ol' mucker. :( Train finally stopped for him at Cambourne on a Wednesday .....(I know he died yesterday, but it has a certain poetry to it - he would have liked that I think.) We've quoted many of his famous quips over the years. I know our family in Devon are going to be particularly gutted - they practically worshipped him!

Hope he didn't suffer.

Not at all pc, but Jethro was superb.
Am trying to find the Weston super Mare joke link (up and down the stairs, your poor feet).

He died 10 days after contracting Covid, and had had all three jabs. Didn't say which variant.
