According to my Daughter it's worth watching and funny - has anyone watched any of it.

She watches it in French and I'm not sure whether from what she tells me about it, it would work very well in English.

No, I haven't seen it yet but would like to. I gather the French think it stereotype the French, particularly the Parisians .... but if the cap fits ....
Anyway, the French stereotype the Parisians all the time !
Presumably the series was originally in English so the French version would be dubbed ? That said, we're not bothered by foreign-made films dubbed into French.
I saw french and English versions of "Babe" and actually preferred the French version (the voices were better)

Yes, watched the original version - American. Light-hearted and funny. Everyone taking the mickey out of themselves and each other. I wonder how the humour works when translated. Daughter has watched some stuff dubbed in French, so boyfriend can understand, but having watched VO of some series, she says the humour just doesn't come across the same.

Absolutely ! A while back, they had Mrs Doubtfire on French TV with no VO. We didn't watch it for long - Robin Williams was completely wasted on the French

It’s on Netflix, don’t know of any other ways of watching it.
