It took some time, 2000 years, are we going to build from now on something like the Pantheon or the Pont du Gard again now that the secrets of the ancient Roman concrete have been unlocked? In Sciencealert the results of a scientific study. Makes you envy: the Roman concrete has remarkable self-healing abilities.

I saw an article a day or so ago on that research as well.

Jimi Hendrix: " And so castles made of sand, fall in the sea, eventually." A much more likely scenario: demolition of these modern concrete buildings in our lifetime, because of economic reasons or maintenance and construction problems. A waste of money and raw materials.

New material called concretine added to concrete when made mean it can be thinner and lighter and can get rid of rebar in many cases
