It says 320g - is that the drone or the entire package? Is there a weight limit on drones in France?

I think it's about 7-750gm all up weight before any regs kick in. All of my 'planes are much heavier than this so I fly 'em in stealth mode

Drone arrived this afternoon. 2 drone rechargeable batts.+ usb charger. 3 AAA batts required for controller. 2 spare blades for inevitable crash.
Seems like it could be fun once I get me head around the Chinglish instructions
AAA battery for size comparison.

Don't forget to remove the tree magnet.

My field is surrounded by trees so it's come in high & get down quick if you want to avoid 'em.
It was only a few months ago a pal of mine came to stay & asked if he could see one of my planes fly.
I told him it was too windy but relented & took out a STOL plane with flaps that is easy to get up & down.
Yeah right! All went well until the final circuit from the next door field when me taking my eye off the ball coincided with a very strong gust of wind.
Luckily there were no leaves on the trees & two beach caster rods lashed together got the plane down.
The next hour was spent on repairs with me thinking what a divvy I was

That looks fun. I can’t work out if your drone uses GPS for stability but I’ve been amazed by how planted my even lighter drone is in gusts. It seems to deny common sense. Enjoy playing. 🚁

Did you have any trouble getting your head around connecting it to your phone? The instructions are pretty dire and the app is no better. That said after googling for instructions, it’s quite good, considering the price.

I got as far as downloading the app but gave up trying to understand the rubbish Chinglish instructions & put it to one side for the moment rather than rush thing & destroy it.
I take it you bought one & got it working so maybe you'd be so kind & let me know what you found that helped.

The trick is to power on the drone and the control unit and then go to settings on your phone and connect to the unsecured wifi network that pops up. Then go into the app and it should all happen, you’ll see the drone camera picture on your phone. Then fly it with the app, control or both. You can slide the phone into the control to make life easier.

I did this with an iPhone, i assume it should be the same with Android. It uses wifi to communicate so distance may be an issue.

Cheers Dave.
I'll give it a go.
