toilet trouble 2

Seem to remember fitting a new mechanism when I fitted a new seat last year, as oh and I are aware of the occasional problem and it is easy to rectify, and not our property, I think it is not too much of a hardship not live with.

One day we'll maybe have a lottery win and get someone in to fix a few things.
A small question. Do you buy a ticket? :)

I have had this problem over a number of years for me it was caused by hard water and lime build up. I turn off the water empty the the cistern and give every part of the mechanism a good squirt of citric acid after an hour it clears the problem

French toilet systems are poorly designed and unnecessarily complex. I can’t ever remember the U.K. version having problems but here I frequently have to replace them and we don’t have a calcaire issue
