French plumbing: conversion table

#1 Post by RobertArthur »

Always food for thought: what exactly is hiding behind those French plumbing indications when shopping in a bricoshed for raccords (fittings). Where is my conversion table? Measurements in inches, pouces, millimeters and more obscure numerical combinations. Searching for an earlier answer about the electric chauffe-eau on NFF (still in the air) I was reminded of the fact that it still exists. Copper pipes, at first sight easier: outer diameters of 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 and 22 millimeters. More difficult: the several French plumbing measurements.
