Blackout-proof heating

It is reassuring to know that when the electricity fails, there is still somewhere you can go for warmth. Here at "Le Zinc Bar Tabac" in Corbigny. A formerly neglected petit court in the open air was completely renovated a few years ago. It is heated by occasionally throwing a few logs on the fire. A double-walled chimney pipe rises very high. And the coffee: excellent. In Paris or other major cities, you can easily pay five times as much, if not more.

Ah but can they still offer the coffee in a power blackout?

@ Exile, thx for your remark. Because late vocations are always welcome I see a bright and sunny new future, although it is very cloudy. Not a training course to become a professional barista, but a salesman for UPS-systems...However, there is of course something that could still throw a spanner in the works. Even with all my backups: data for life, but what do you do when all your batteries are flat?

No problem. Step outside and start your unfashionable petrol or diesel car and plug your laptop into the ciggie lighter. Once the heater warms up you're good. Been there, done that.
