Code de la Route - the theory side of driving

#11 Post by Bayleaf »

Well, my first go I got 24/40. Son got the same on his first run on the official one - that's the one we've paid to use, as it keeps a record of his previous mock tests, and homes in on his weaknesses. So, better than the random one I've linked above.

Happy to keep practising with him - as I'm learning more French words, and some of the quirky French road rules. Some are totally random, like, in a new car that uses a remote fob to lock/unlock the car - how many doors will be locked as the driver clicks the button when walking away? Apparently only the driver's door - a bit random?!

I had no problem with French but on my screen some of the signposts were blurry.
26/40 on first run
Then I chose another 'test' and got very cross when my answer was marked wrong : the national speed limit on non dual carriageways single-sense each way outside agglomerations is 80kph, yet the so called correct answer was given as 90.
At which point I switched off.
How do people live without at least one dog in the house?
