I receive regular emails from this company in my spam box but have always discarded them. But today, as I have a mind to sell the older of my 2 cars, I had a look at it, without clicking on anything of course.
My questions are. Has anybody used this service to sell a car and what has been the result? Also is it similar to the much advertised We Buy Any Car.com, in the UK?
Any reports of a con or bad practice?
Autobiz, useful or waste of time?

Spardo A link isn't showing on your post. I don't know if its just me or the same for everybody

- guess we should just search for 'autobiz'

@ Spardo, could be a waste of time. Read these comments, website of the French consumer organisation 60mlns-de-consommateurs.

I had heard that too. I imagine it is the same for Vendez Votre Voiture which is advertized on TV a lot.
Why not advertize it yourself ?
Having said that I traded my last modern car in at the Ford concessionaire to avoid people coming around to the house. Not such a good price but no hassle. It did have an electrical problem that could not be found and which appeared from time to time.

Re: Autobiz, useful or waste of time?
No company is going to offer a fair price. We Buy Anycar, etc. are going to pay wholesale or less. Big enticing "potential" offers online and then when you take the car for closer inspection the offer drops like a stone for whatever reasons they can cook up. It's just another "free lunch" scenario. If it appears to be too good to be true, it most certainly is. If you are desperate and just want rid............it serves a purpose.
On my headstone it will say: Please switch off mobile phones. I'm trying to get some sleep.

Oldblueraincoat As a serial avoider of links myself unless absolutely necessary I didn't want to trouble anybody similarly. Also my question was addressed to users or those who had knowledge of the company, if you needed to Google it, you didn't fall into either category.

Thank you for the info, just what I needed, and as to why not advertise it myself, I can't be arsed with having the world and his wife at my door bringing all their infections with them.
Also, I am not desperate to get rid, I know at 17 years old with nearing half a million kms on the clock, though a much loved and useful vehicle, I am not going to get much for it. And at only €95/year insurance to keep it in the garden for the occasional trip locally (360kms in the last year) but with a brand new first time CT pass, I am happy with it where it is. Just wondered, con or not, that's all.
