Amongst many others I had two personal 'Froggies' in the UK. & Mme had one.Hotrodder wrote: ↑Fri Oct 17, 2025 11:13 am It always make me wonder why French cars have such a bad reputation in UK. The wife's 24-year old Peugeot has had a hard life and has 325,000km on the clock at the moment and has had no breakdowns and has had only minor maintenance done in all that time. (It has had two cam belt renewals.) She loves it. I respect it.
A Renault 25, Citroen Xantia estate & 2 CV.
Two of my company's service vans were Peugeot.
Serviced regularly we never had any serious trouble with any of them & like 'H' always wondered about the negative talk
