It’s an everyday car that lives in the heart of rural France and travels on roads used by farm machinery. It is given a lot of respect, it’s been dealer serviced from new and always wears good tyres however having it clean, sparkling and polished day in and day out would be impractical.

My old van gets a good scrub up twice a year, whether it needs it or not. This year I will be treating it to some fresh oil.

@DominicBest OK I take your point. We live in rural France too with an enormous amount of trackers, milk lorries, egg lorries, cow, sheep & pig transporters etc that pass by daily and the house interior and the cars including the ones in the garage are always covered in dust so OH washes and polishes them frequently probably more frequently than I dust I'm embarrassed to say

@Hotrodder Just an update. OH has done dings/scratch touch up and he is mighty pleased with the result in fact if he could have got shot of the ding I would not have be able to see where the touch up was. So excellent paint, excellent delivery service.
