100€ Indemnité carburant

#1 Post by MAD87 »

You can claim this until 28 February if
-you use your car for work and/or the journey to/from work
- your tax reference income (revenu fiscal de référence) does not exceed 14 700 € per part
you were tax resident in France in 2021.

Those are the bare bones of the help - the government says that 7 million people have yet to apply. However, lots of folk apparently have no idea about this, so hardly surprising.

I applied for it, for our work van, a week ago - let's see how generous they're being! Just have to wait and see now .....

Yours is a lot less than ours @Char but @hughnique's is an awful lot more than ours.

Ours is less than Char's and we've had our monthly charge lowered, but we only have one electric heater which is in the bathroom, used for about 10 mins when having a shower. There's no doubt that LEDs, not leaving stuff on standby and being strict about using cheaper overnight electricity (H/W tank, washing machine & dishwasher) has made a difference. But with electricity prices going up, no doubt things will change.
Our major outgoing at the moment is fioul for the boiler ....

I have had them over 1000€ for 2 months before now, strangely prior to the new meter being installed, we've not a lot of choice, either drag tree stumps in for the wood burner, which heats up most of the surrounding countryside, via the chimney, or use electric heaters, mainly on timers. A lot of it was used on the pond pumps and associated paraphernalia, but I have got that down to the bare necessities now, all the UV has been shut off, keep the pumps on to stop a freeze up.
