I can only think of one word, 4 letters, starts and ends with "T" but then he must have known the risk he was taking.

Considering the huge numbers that have done it here in Brittany I have always thought the cops here couldn't be arsed.
On my headstone it will say: Please switch off mobile phones. I'm trying to get some sleep.

Perhaps someone reported him or he was involved in some sort of altercation.

Those cars with (out of date) road tax discs still fixed to their windowscreens are a dead giveaway ..

So they should be seeing that the last discs were issued in Sept 2015!

The question now arises, in my mind, as to whether or not the French authorities start investigating when this vehicle arrived in France and could they impose import duty, VAT and the rest of the shebang that has started since Brexshit

Limoges airport car park always has plenty of them. All the gendarmes have to do is walk round. Leaving a UK registered car here to fly to the UK is a giveaway.

I suspect MoT and insurance - or lack thereof - may have been an issue?
