Providing it's OK to travel in May, has anyone travelled the coast road, Marseille, Nice etc through all the tunnels to reach Florence?
We did this journey returning from Italy in 2017, the tolls were expensive.
To get to Italy we went via Little St Bernards pass to Aosta.
If anyone can recommend another route I'll be listening.
Thanks

The little St Bernard only opens in May so it might be worth checking closer to the travel date. That said, winter has been so mild this year that the chance of major issues should be small.
