With light use preferably, any recommendations please?

Don't bother. They just move warm air around.

Last year we bought a simple one, a low cost table model, moving the air around quite efficiently, almost no noise, making life more comfy on a hot sunny afternoon. I was pleasantly surprised, my expectations were not too high. And last but not least: no extra work needed, wiring, switch etc. to install a ceiling fan. A big relief when temperatures are high and you don't want to work very hard. Summertime, when the living is easy....

Ceiling fans are ideal......in winter to push the warm air back down.

Only if you live in a lofty building or avoid raising your arms in a standard 2.4 m high ceiling house.

I have a couple of these, I've experienced dozens of different fans but the performance of these is outstanding. Slow speed (1 out of 3) exceeds the performance of many others flat out.

No hesitation in recommending.

Looks good enough to either pull down or raise up your ceiling on full power

Had one for years, brought it with us when moving to Dordogneshire.
Always fix it in bedroom, its a four blade three speed reversible one with a light on if needed.
Always have it on the slowest, majic in these very hot nights just moving the air round.

Just a note, fans in the bedroom overnight are supposed to disturb your sleep, and tend to be noisy. We've found using a humidifier the best for cooling.(other than an AC unit) Ours is on a shelf over the bed. It has nozels you can direct, so you get a lovely cool mist over you. ( Much like they use on veg counters in the supermarket.
