I'm looking for a branch chipper & this site is the cheapest by far. On the basis that 'if it seems to good to be true it usually is' , it appears a scam, but how does a Luddite check.
Any sleuths care to check out this place for me? Google street view shows it's in a shopping area & not where I'd expect to find this sort of thing sold plus the phone no. appears to be a mobile & they don't accept Paypal. The website shows a siren & siret no. & TVA ref.

Yes they do seem a bit on the cheap side, normally a red flag, there have been several sites on Facebook of late, one yesterday were selling Honda generators for about 65€, all new and photos from a retail outlet, again a report to Facebook yields no action, they can't see anything wrong with it.

NAH! I wasn't going to try to buy anything at half the going rate. Luddite maybe but that daft, never.
Dunno how anyone gives 'em their 'hard earned' when the price makes it pretty obvious something's wrong.
The going rate for the m/c I want seems to be just around 2,000€ so less than half that immediately rings alarm bells. If they tried to 'sell' 'em for say 1,700€ they'd surely attract more punters.
