During an upgrade and extension of our terrace about six baby snakes (while collar couleuvre) hidden in the sand saw the daylight and said: bonjour Robert, pleased to meet you.

Correct MAD for French snakes.

As I have posted elsewhere look closely at the pupils of the snake's eyes. If the pupil is round, it is a non-venomous snake. If the pupil is a vertical slit or oval, you are probably a lot closer than you should be.
