Yes, and once he had, he was gone in a flash. I tried to move the video back a micro second for an 'in flight' snap, but couldn't catch it, all you can see is the disappearing wingtip or tail feather.

I've never done videos but I do have some lovely well IMHO of two robins that frequent our garden. Last night they were taking a bath in the bird bath after stomping about in it first Our cat looked on disgusted as she likes a drink from that bird bath! I said to OH must be that they need to get their feet used to the cold first before they go skinny dipping
