France in Focus

I can never resist them and there is a pair nesting somewhere close to the house. I've yet to be able to snap them together, but will keep trying.

Our garden has been lihe Bird Heathrow today with all the rain and worms on offer.

Here's my little robin

They're very active here at the moment, shouting and flying around. I think it's a couple but robins are very territorial, so who knows !

Information time, just in case you didn't know, they are called Red Robins, even though the breast colour is Orange, when they were first seen and named many years ago, the colour Orange did not exist, hence Red Robin.

My favourite garden bird followed by the jenny wren & chaffinch then the blackbird but as said previously I need a pane of glass between myself & birds especially when they take flight
