Reminds me of when I worked at the Post Office, the engineers mess room had a large gas cooker with an eye level grill, a mouse was discovered dead in the grill but not before the toast and dripping brigade had treated themselves to several slices

Oh no, no no. That toaster would be promptly taken to the Déchetterie.

This mouse trap is more humane - at least provided it is checked daily and any catch is released far from home before the poor thing dies of starvation or suffocation.
