Vegetarian fox?

There was a time when foxes, certainly during the day, still kept a safe distance from houses. Even in the French countryside. That turned out no longer to be the case last night when we were visiting our old neighbours. I quickly snapped a few photos from behind double-glazed windows, enlarged them and edited them a little. After carefully sniffing around, a young fox was tucking into the many mirabelle plums lying on the ground there. A vegetarian fox?

If you come accross fox poo, it almost invariably has a high percentage of fruit stones.

Nice shot RA.

I dread coming across fox poo as my Springer loves rolling in it and is intent on getting his ears covered. 🐶🐶🤣🤣
