Fifi and Rafal get on like a house on fire. We took a few precautions to start with because we were afraid Rafal might resent Fifi's presence. He was a little bit rough to start with and as Fifi is still fragile being a pup and because of her back leg laxity, we were a bit nervous. It wasn't easy because Fifi went for him all the time, egging him on. Fortunately they seem to have calmed down, perhaps due to the heat, and all seems to be well.

This is Fifi's favourite toy at the moment : It makes a heck of a racket on the tiled floors but she loves it, chasing it, and growling furiously !

Nice one Blaze. Glad it's working out.
We've considered a playmate for Jess our recent SPA adoptee but as she's the 3rd excellent mutt we've adopted since we've been here we're unsure whether to push our luck.
Probably Karma will sort it. :)

@L Austin France It's probably the best thing we did for Rafal. He loves playing with her but will tell her when to stop, generally by barking at her. If she's really insistant, he'll give her a small nip, or at least growl.
I think a lot of dogs are timid because they haven't been socialised with other dogs or other people. Whilst Rafal wasn't timid, Fifi seems to have opened him up as it were.

@Blaze
Jess sure ain't timid.
Each week she goes to doggy school which consists of training plus group off lead walkies where Jess loves to play with the other mutts.
Dog teachers always ask if they can put 'antisocial' dogs with Jess to help them on. She's so good tempered she'll play with any dog although like Rafal she tells 'em when enough is enough.
