No no no Steve,
You're not getting away from here that easily - we all want to see piccies of your little rascals and regular updates about their mischievous activities. :D

Just because Spardo doesn't like dog breeders doesn't mean you have to leave us. If at some stage I decide that the house is too empty and I feel able to have another dog, I may well have to go down the same route as you. I was lucky when I got my dearly departed Dougie dog, that a lady locally had and accident with her Bitch and ended up with a litter of puppies she didn't want so I rescued one. We weren't able to adopt from the SPA either because of lack of income and no fences etc.

We know your new companions will have a very long happy life with you.

As for me booting you off t'wasn't my choice, that was another forum a long time ago, and when you returned under a new user name I didn't tell anyone it was you did I. ;)

Anyhow, I look forward to seeing a new thread about your puppies.

Dunno what your history with Char was before but this debacle can't be a reason to leave this nice place.

Please come back from me too. Teckels are such characters and I'd love to see piccies and hear about their naughty antics !

And being a lifelong lover of teckels, I'd like to know if basquesteve knows what he's let himself in for! Even at 10, our boy still behaves like a pup and is such a comedian that he makes us laugh every day.

Have you any children ? if so did any one check your address ,home, age, income, experience, intelligence other children, cats, dogs, criminal record before you were allowed If not, get off my back, I paid 2000 euros for two dogs instead of one because I did not wish to break there bond as brothers , In tge past I have had 3 dogs on the go do you think I will treat them badly people like you are one of the reasons I left the UK 25 years ago

PS Sorry Char a great site and great to see you well keep up the great photos but off again you fired me off once before but best to get away before you do it again see you in a few years time
Well that has been heavily edited since first posted and a good job too. I never cast any aspersions on your ability to look after dogs, merely pointed out that rescue associations would not be doing their job properly if they didn't check up on people who want to adopt dogs.

Just for the record, yes I have been rejected, twice. Once when wanting to adopt the 3 children of my first wife's first marriage, because her errant former husband had disappeared after serving his prison sentence and was needed to authorise their adoption. (BTW all 3 of them still call me Dad, over 40 years later). And secondly when I first came here was rejected, quite properly, by the SPA in Perigueux, because I had neither job nor fence.

I didn't object or throw a hissy fit in either case because both were justified.

Well let's leave it there now shall we - the most important thing is that two little puppies have got a lovely home and will have a happy life full of love.

I hope Steve will keep us updated on their progress and share some piccies with us on here of them as they grow up.
