Guide chook & miracle ?

#11 Post by Quiksilver »

It's funny how they pair off, isn't it? My biggest, bossiest 'head hen' always stays with Hopalong the handicappée when the others go careering off across their parc or into the orchard. They are the only two originals to have shared a traumatic fouine experience and survived, though, so perhaps that forms a bond.

Now that is funny, reminds me somewhat of my sons friend when he was strimming the garden, unbeknown to him the kitten was sleeping in the undergrowth, and tragically the strimmer cord completely sliced the poor things tail off. In the panic he rushed the kitten to Tesco's and happily they sorted it all out.
