We've noticed that Sherlock isn't able to jump up. Today he tried to jump onto the bed and he fell backwards.

He always liked to jump onto our laps whilst we sat on the toilet (bit annoying) and he's stopped doing this for a couple of weeks.

The other noticeable thing is that he doesn't hold his tail up now.

He hasn't lost weight and is eating which must be a good sign

I'm just hoping it isn't a problem with his back or hips, as a drooping tail suggests.

Poor baby

Perhaps he's put something out in his back - he could have landed or jumped badly. I hope the vet sorts him out.

Best of wishes for tomorrow 😻 - could he have broken his tail? Ours did a few years ago. It mended perfectly after a couple of weeks and some medication.

Hope all goes well with Sherlock, and that it is a minor and correctable problem.
