Last week I sent a message through the impot site asking if I had to include paypal for paying for items bought via a website but not to store/send money also Xe that I use to convert my £ to euros then have transferred over to France. The reply is below.

Bonjour,
S'agissant d'un compte ouvert à l'étranger, vous devrez le déclarer via le formulaire 3916.
En vous remerciant de votre attention.
If in doubt - declare!

What about a Revolut account? Only used to transfer small amounts as currency exchange?

declare it - better safe than sorry. Put it in your tax return, write a question to the fonc on your online messaging system and if they say you don’t need to bother you can correct your return later in the year ( but I’ll bet 50centimes they want it declared)

To pay impot by prelevement monthly, is there a box that you need to check?

We have a cleaner that is arranged via an Agency, we get 50% back on the payment automatically from URSSAF, the amounts gross and net are already typed in on the impot form. Is there anything else we should include on the form?

You need to declare the UK part on 3916. It is a foreign bank account. If you go to you sterling account and look at details you will see the UK bank account details and the UK address. I assume the euro account shows the French address so you don't need to declare that as Revolut France will do that. If your euro account details still show the Lithuania address you will also need to declare that on 3916.

Silly question I'm sure, but as it is my first time of declaring state pension, do I put a tick against this on the revenue page

Pensions, retraites, rentes, rentes viagères à titre onéreux

Thank you

Not a silly question at all. All questions people come up with regarding tax are good questions. Knowing who to ask is even more important. I noticed over the years we get different answers to the same question, even different tax offices in different regions. There used to be two different places to enter pensions, depending whether it was the simple state old age pension or a pension from work as a civil service operative. We've given up trying to understand it and always get a bod at the tax office to fill it in.
On my headstone it will say: Please switch off mobile phones. I'm trying to get some sleep.

You need to work through methodically and complete 2047 before 2042 (and then remember to check/complete 3916)
I suggest you try to look at the bh-assurances link I gave earlier as that will show you the order to complete most common items.
If you are completing online you need to do it in that order otherwise you may find figures you have already put on 2042 are added to from 2047, so doubling up your declaration.

Maybe that is what has happened 🤔 as today the figure to be paid has increased considerably to what it was the other day.

I haven't signed and submitted yet, so I presume I'm still able to check and rectify as necessary?

Thanks

When you get to the point of submission, you will be presented with a summary of your entries as they generate the amount payable so you should be able to see if any of the figures don’t match your initial data. You can modify before you sign, you can also modify after you have signed and before the deadline submission date. I do this often (!!!). You then can modify when the system is reopened for correction later in the year
