where do I insert my pension on tax form?
I might be jumping the gun a bit, but getting ready for when the time comes.
As last year was my first state pension year, where do I put this down on the tax form in France?
I have it paid into our French bank in euros, so do I just add up all the amounts and insert that on the form?
Many thanks

Assuming this is not from a civil service pension - as defined in the double taxation treaty:
It goes into the taxable foreign income box* - you should probably fill out the sum in the foreign income form (2047? from memory) first.
And yes just fill in what you have received.
* I am a bit reticent to give the box number just in case they change things from the last years forms. Once the new forms appear we can give chapter and verse.

Thank you, I'll get the calculator at the ready. Do DWP send anything, like a P60?

I have never had anything from DWP apart from notification of the updated payments from April each year.

I put it in 1AM, and added a note in the section at the end of the declaration to the effect that this was my first year of receiving the pension, and the date it comenced.

As a result of something my daughter told me last year, I phoned DWP and asked for a January-December statement for the Fisc. They sent it within a fortnight. The Fisc has its own conversion figure for the year so no need to faff around yourself converting it to €.manonthemoon2 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 29, 2025 11:14 am Thank you, I'll get the calculator at the ready. Since then I've arranged payment direct to one of my accounts here, so life will be simpler from this year.

I opened up 2025 impot form, was surprised it was already available.
So, I ask my original question, which box do I put my UK state pension in please? It's paid into my French bank account so I'll just tot up all the incoming figures. I have no other income or pensions, so should be relatively easy?

If you use prélèvement for paying your tax bill monthly or trimestrielle you may need to increase it a bit to cover your additional income.
