Surgery tomorrow

#31 Post by Liz »

Belated but sincere hugs from me, currently sitting with two of my best friends in our trailer tent in Normandy listening to the rain hammering down in a storm.
They are both cancer survivors, Fixit (my hubby) and M whom we have known for over thirty years.

Surgery tomorrow

Thank you all for your kind messages, and personal messages.

Almost one week from surgery, my throat problem has worsened so today I went to my MT. She said it's all very inflamed and possibly infected. So I'm on a dose of cortisone and antibiotics. The anaesthetist did a really good job at intubation, not.

Hopefully my appetite will improve, I've only been able to drink milk.

I’m sorry to read that your throat is so bad and hope that it improves with your medication. Honey is very soothing if you have some.
