I bought some helicrysum italicum today, hope it works

I dilute it with huile d'argan (haven't a clue what "argan" is) but any oil will do. You can use it 2 or 3 times a day, massaged gently ... I hope it works for you MOTM2

Argan oil comes from kernels of the argan trees in Morocco and is used there for dipping bread in oil and for drizzling over couscous etc, also used in cosmetics.

It’s a lot of work to get tbe oil and a story, maybe apocryphal, goes that goats used to be encouraged to climb into argan trees and feed from the fruit, with the kernels later retrieved from the goat droppings!

As an aside I have done a bit of research as things were playing on my mind ,,and found information that states that oral arnica should not be taken alongside any anti coagulants or around the time of surgery

Well its not killed me yet having taken arnica ( in homeopathic pills not neat) before and after a number of ops in my life since it was recommended to me by a homeopathic specialist. Its well known in helping the body heal its self.

That's great news, MOTM2. I'm a bit wary of recommending something as everyone's different, and reactions or effectiveness may not be the same.
