Confusion with dots and commas
I suspect a doctor might use 13/6 as it's easier for the patient to understand (he will probably have noted the full result) ! Team first aid training today (pompiers, ambulanciers etc) requires that the full details are given - if a doctor wants to round up, that's up to him.

I answered before the last bit was add ,they may round up I don’t know the protocol,whatever there’s still the potential for 10mmHg difference,which isn’t insignificant when discussing blood pressure

TBH, I think the numbers are less important to most patients than the doctor's comments.

Blood pressure numbers mean nought to me - I just say after the dr's told me, c'est bon ou pas?
As for the blood results I just look to see if any are in bold or have a star beside them, but the dr normally phones me to arrange an appointment if something is awry.
